Ingredients
1 small apple
1 small carrot
1 tablespoon lemon juice
2 tablespoons sunflower seeds (without the shells)
3-4 cups lettuce, torn into bite-size pieces
1/4 cup raisins
Bottled dressing
Preparation
Wash apple and carrot. Cut apple into quarters and remove core. Cut into bits-size pieces and toss in lemon juice. Remove ends of carrot and shred or grate. Drain lemon juice from apple pieces and toss apple pieces, grated carrot, sunflower seeds, lettuce pieces and raisins into 1 gallon plastic bag. Shake ingredients in bag to mix. Divide contents into 4 salad dishes and serve with your choice of dressing.
